The University of Sheffield in United Kingdom is a partner of Startify7, an exciting European Horizon 2020 project for young future Information and Communications Technology entrepreneurs. Through the collaboration of  leading universities and  entrepreneurship organizations across Europe, the project is organizing 7 thematically focused summer academies in 7 different European cities, 3 of them to take place in 2015 and 4 of them to take place in 2016.

This summer 2015, the University of Sheffield is organising the summer academy on Digital Health. This academy will take place from July 27th to August 6th 2015 and will train future entrepreneurs in prototyping innovative Digital Health related business ideas. The academy is targeting bachelor and last-year high school students enrolled in European academic institutions, and it will follow an interactive learning program with an emphasis on teamwork, hands-on programs, interactive workshops as well as the opportunity to engage with ICT and embedded systems professionals.

The three best performing teams will be offred the chance to travel to Belgium for a three-days acceleration bootcamp in autumn 2015.
